TIMELINE

Once you've made contact we will set up a date to carry out a site visit and  discuss your brief.

Following the discussions a quote will be produced and emailed within 48hrs.

When the quote gets accepted the process of producing the drawings starts.  

A site syrvey is carried out and with this information existing / initial proposed drawings are created. 

The proposed drawings are discussed and amended until  agreed with client.

The planning application can now be submitted and the planning fee paid.

The negotiation with the local planning authority takes place, with Four Counties liasing between the client and the local authorities until a planning decision is made.

The decision takes 8 weeks, In some cases this may be extended but all decisions will be relayed to the client.

Once approved the next stage is to produce Building Regulation Drawings the time varies depending on the projects complexity. 

When produced they will be submitted to Building Control to check and ensure the extension meets current legislation. 

Once the Drawings have full approval,  the client can start searching for quotes and eventually appointing a builder . 

Work then commences.
